U-BIX Corporation was the first company to introduce plain paper copiers to the Philippines in 1974 through its exclusive partnership with Konica Corporation.

In 2003, Konica Corporation and Minolta Co. Ltd. merger and the birth of a new corporation, Konica Minolta Business Technologies, Inc (KMBT).  KMBT then appointed UBIX as the exclusive distributor of Konica digital copiers. 

Konica Minolta, with U-BIX Corporation as its exclusive distributor, is committed to the development of products that are “innovative, creative, and dynamic.”  With the advancement of technology and the onset of digitization and networking in office equipment, copiers could now be linked to multiple computers, improving the use of the machine and resulting to increased efficiency and productivity in the workplace. Konica Minolta has an extensive lineup of copiers catered to users’ needs, including black and white and color copiers with a wide range of speeds, as well as its state-of-the-art digital multi-functional peripherals (MFPs) which are all-in-one units with copying, printing, scanning and facsimile functions.
